Personal Artistic Research '23
For my Personal Artistic Research project I decided to film a story about a day in the life of a home-office desk. The intention of this project is for us to figure out new techniques and creative ways to film with an extra twist.
In this case we started off with a 30 second audio clip we had to record somewhere in public, from the emotion we felt from the clip we had to come up with a concept for a video without audio that displayed the emotion we felt.
By creating a film about a day in the life of a desk I had to find a way to create a character who didn’t exist or would be seen in the film but would still have an effect on the desk. In a way I had to make the desk a character, changing it depending on the time of day.
